“We envision a health care system that embraces prevention as much as treatment, where mental and physical health are addressed in harmony.”
A Q&A with CMCM.
The first day of the UNature Conference 2025: And if we were nature? is dedicated to the vital link between Nature & Mental Health. Shaping a future where nature is an integral part of preventive care and psychological well-being would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsor for this day, CMCM. Learn more about why CMCM chose to support this day and how the conference reflects their long-standing commitment to accessible, community-driven health care solutions.
Why did your organization choose to sponsor the Nature & Mental Health Day of the UNature Conference?
At CMCM, we strongly believe in the importance of preventive care and holistic well-being. Supporting the Nature & Mental Health Day aligns with our commitment to innovative, community-based solutions that improve mental health through both medical and non-medical approaches.
What about the conference content aligns with your organization’s mission/vision?
The conference’s focus on nature-based, research-backed mental health solutions resonates deeply with our mission to promote accessible and sustainable health care. We see real value in fostering dialogue and collaboration around preventive care, mental well-being, and community engagement.
How does your organization support the mental health of your employees, and does/can nature play a role in that?
We prioritize the mental well-being of our employees through flexible work arrangements and home office, which encourage a healthy work-life balance.
In addition, employees have access to a garden at our headquarters where they can take breaks in a green environment.
We also offer all employees the opportunity to spend a day outdoors with our CMCM on Tour team at a market or other public event, providing a welcome change of scenery and a refreshing break from the office routine, working outdoors and in direct interaction with people.
We further promote physical activity by covering participation fees for running events, encouraging movement and overall well-being through sport.
What role do you think CMCM can play in promoting access to nature as a means of supporting preventive care in Luxembourg?
CMCM can help raise awareness and fund initiatives that integrate nature into everyday health practices. We aim to support projects that bridge the gap between nature, mental health, and accessibility, especially for vulnerable populations.
As the conference is dedicated to reimagining the future, let’s dream big! How do you imagine the future landscape of the health care system and your organization’s role in it?
We envision a health care system that embraces prevention as much as treatment, where mental and physical health are addressed in harmony. CMCM aims to be a leader in promoting accessible, community-based health models that combine prevention, well-being, and digital solutions like our CMCM app and upcoming MyCMCM platform to bring health services closer to people’s everyday lives.
