Nature (Re)Connection in: French

Curious about everything, I love the songs that unite humans. I am inspired by the many benefits of nature and social art and their abilities to create contexts that promote connection to oneself, to others and to the living. I am interested in spaces that allow healing and infuse meaning. My career is marked by street work, which has helped me recognize the need to create places of inclusion and to adapt our invitations to reach marginalized people. As a social worker, I had the chance to guide outdoor interventions with young people and women distant from nature.
As a guide, what nourishes me is facilitating the connection to the living, human encounters, wonder, as well as the personal and social evolution that the relationship with nature allows.

Some questions for Milène

As a child, nature for you was...? The river, the trees, the flower fields, the cows and the horses. It was my refuge, my escape, my friends, my daydreaming space, my connection to life, to beauty, to my sensitivity, to the wild, to animals, to magic.

Which sense instantly connects you to nature? Touch! Touching mosses, stones, sand, wood, bark, earth, leaves, flowers, feeling fresh or salt water on my skin.

What gives you comfort in nature? Its beauty, admiring the infinitely small and feeling its immensity. To feel its strength, life and death, to witness the transformations, the poetry of its perfect imperfections. Being in nature puts me back in the universe: I feel small, but belonging to the whole. I feel alive in the middle of the elements: the rain, the wind, the cold... Its generosity and abundance overwhelm me.
