“And yet, the trees, the plants,
the water, the sounds…”

He was deeply depressed, rather disgusted with the way the world was going, ready, in fact, to leave it all behind.

And yet...

"Yet the trees, the plants, the water, the sounds, the animals, the winds, the rocks, the stars, all the vibrant living entities continued to speak to me, to invite me to 'be' with them, with their spirits".

That day, Georges Savard, a native of the Huron-Wendat Nation in the Quebec City region, understood the meaning of what he called his “earth path”: bringing together his two fundamental passions, music and nature.

With other members of his nation, he created the association MusiqueNature whose mission it is to produce musical events in remote areas, bringing together four types of music. First and foremost, that of nature, which we never hear in concert halls (besides the one produced by human nature...). The music and rhythms of the First Nations that are still very little known to the general public, the music created by the peoples of the world, and current, mainstream music, provided that it is acoustic.

Founded in 2021, MusiqueNature has already produced several events including a traditional Wendat dance performance in the middle of the forest which was the subject of a magnificent music video, a trio in a dazzling environment, and a sound walk filled with lessons about our world.

For those with a preference for contemporary music, it is perhaps through this dance (Sandrine and Catherine on the water at Long Lake) that one should begin to admire the ambition of MusiqueNature. - And how majestic humans are when they are in nature!
